The silicon carbide material makes the flame sensor more sensitive to components with longer ultraviolet wavelengths generated by the flame, which helps to better detect flames in liquid drying, low nitrogen oxide applications, and environments with significant levels of water and steam.

Structure and principle: The RS-FS-9001 sensor has a transparent sapphire window inside, which is resistant to ultraviolet light and can withstand compressor exhaust temperature and pressure. The sensor also includes a lens inside to focus light on the silicon carbide photodiode in a sealed package. The photodiode is connected to the MOSFET input amplifier, which has a high initial gain and can automatically convert to a lower gain.

Application field: Due to its excellent performance, the RS-FS-9001 flame detector is widely used in industrial fields such as petroleum, natural gas, and iron smelting. It can quickly and accurately detect flames or high-temperature gases, and issue alarms or control signals to ensure the safety of industrial production.
